| Downtown Plaza: Downtown Plaza is located on L Street in Sacramento. The mall is two stories and is categorized to be an open air mall. The Downtown Plaza has all the major retailers including two Macy's stores - men's/ furniture and women's. The mall is located in downtown and the parking is located underneath the mall. Once a purchase is made, the store will validate the parking ticket for their customer. Arden Fair Mall: Located in Sacramento off the Capitol City Freeway on Arden Way. Arden Fair Mall is one of the best and largest malls in the Sacramento region. The mall's highlights include stunning skylights that run across the entire middle of the mall and a beautiful architectural and decorative design that has dozens of palm trees growing from the first floor and reaching to the top of the second. Pavilion Plaza: A beautiful place where you can shop, eat, and play. The Pavilion Plaza is all lit up at night. Every tree has lights wrapped around which gives off a relaxed and romantic vibe. A great place to grab a coffee in the evening and check out the stores or just sit and relax with a friend or two. The Pavilion Plaza is located in Sacramento on Fair Oaks Boulevard. Galleria at Roseville: One of the nicest malls and largest malls in the Sacramento area. The Galleria mall in Roseville is two stories high and just went through a multi-million dollar renovation that unveiled phase one in November 2008. New stores include Luis Vuitton, Love Culture, Aeropostale, and Crate and Barrel. The mall also has a new food court with a wide selection of fast food restaurants to choose from. A new 4 story parking garage was added as well with reserved parking spaces for shoppers with children. Once phase two is complete, the unveiling will include new stores such as Juicy Couture, Kira PLastinina, Peek Aren't You Curious, Papyrus, and Tommy Bahama. The Galleria Mall is located in Roseville, just off Interstate 80 minutes from Sacramento. Folsom Premium Outlets: The Folsom Premium Outlets feature retailers that sell designer clothing at fraction of the cost of a typical mall. It is the one and only outlet center in the Sacramento region. The retailers are factory outlet retailers such as Off Fifth Saks Avenue, Nine West, and many more. Sunrise Mall: The Sunrise Mall has been around since the early 1970's and went under two minor renovations: one in 1999 and another to it's food court in 2007. This is a nice mall to shop for those not interested in anything spectacular. The Sunrise Mall has a lot of major retailers and has a very upbeat atmosphere. The mall is located in Citrus Heights on Sunrise Avenue. The Fountains at Roseville: A beautiful place to shop and play. A shopping plaza that features a center court fountain with a water show. The water show is coreographed to lighting and music in the evenings and weekends on the half hour. Kids are able to play in designated areas that include an interactive water feature and a mid-sized playground. The Fountains include a Whole Foods Market Grocery Store in the front parking lot. As you pull in further, you will discover stores such as Vera Bradley, DSW Shoes, White House Black Market, and many more. You can eat, shop, listen to music, sit and relax by the fire pit, and enjoy the fountain music light show all at The Fountains. The plaza is located in Roseville across the street from the Galleria at Roseville. Country Club Plaza: One of the older malls in the Sacramento area. Country Club Plaza has been around for many years and fairly recently went through a renovation. The renovation included adding color to the mall's outer image such as bold browns, purples, and teals. The interior of the mall was updated with a more contemporary design. The Plaza is located at Watt Avenue and El Camino in Sacramento. Sacramento Gateway: The Sacramento Gateway shopping plaza is located in North Natomas just off Interstate 80 on Truxel Road. The plaza features well known retailers and restaurants. Sacramento Gateways features two sections to their plaza: The Village and The Promenade. Both sections to the plaza have beautiful architecture, sculptures, and landscaping. The Village is lit up with lights in the evenings. Sacramento Gateway is a great place to shop, eat, and relax. It is very convenient to access from downtown Sacramento and has plenty of parking available for shoppers. Marketplace at Birdcage: The Marketplace is located on Sunrise Avenue across the street from the Sunrise Mall in Citrus Heights. It has 35 stores with a few major retailers including Target and Best Buy. It features a large parking lot, the shopping center is never crowded, and has a lot of places to just sit and relax. |
